The Seattle office of the Records and Licensing Services Division is located in Room 311 of the King County Administration Building, 500 Fourth Avenue, Seattle, Washington. How do we meet the requirements for a marriage license in Federal Way, Washington?

For you to meet the requirements for a marriage license in Federal Way, Washington, you both need to be single and at least 18 years old. When you go to apply for your marriage license, you must appear together in person at the Records and Licensing Services Division office and present a government-issued photo I.D. such as a driver’s license. If you are 17 years old, you can apply for a marriage license if you have parental consent. If you are 16 years old or younger, you must have court approval in order to apply for a marriage license.
