Apply For A Glendale Marriage License

My fiancé and I are starting to plan our wedding in Glendale, California. Where are we going to have to go to apply for a marriage license?

To apply for a marriage license, you and your fiancé are going to have to go together to a branch office of the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office that issues marriage licenses. Close to Glendale, there are branch offices in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.

The Los Angeles location at the LAX Courthouse is located at 11701 S. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, on the sixth floor. The office can be reached by phone at (310) 727-6142 and hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., though marriage license applications should be submitted by 3:00 p.m. for same-day service.

While it is possible to download the marriage license application online, you and your fiancé will still need to go to the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office together to pay the fees, present photo I.D. and pick up the marriage license. The marriage license application, along with further information about Los Angeles County weddings, is available online at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office website at Glendale Marriage License.
