This can be obtained by going to the local Recorder of Deeds, you may apply in any county and the marriage license in valid throughout the state. Upon appearing in person, you both must also have proper DMV issued photo identification or passport, a check or major credit card to pay the application fee, birth certificates, basic personal information like names and addresses and any previous divorce decrees, if applicable. The fee is approximately $50, which does vary from one county to the next. Applicants must be 18 years of age, if 18 not under 15 years and then must have a custodial guardian to sign permission.
