For the Green Mountain state of Vermont, agriculture is the dominant source of revenue that has built up the state for many decades. Major products produced by the state include cheese, dairy products, and world-famous maple syrup.  The state is currently experiencing some job growth and the economy is expected to see an upward trend for it’s 360,000 workers.

There are more than 25 colleges and universities in the state of Vermont.  The University of Vermont, Burlington has a business program in four concentrations: accounting, finance, marketing, and business analytics.  These concentrations are studies within a particular theme: Global Business, Sustainable Business, or Entrepreneurship.  The school also offers an MBA program and a Masters of Accountancy.  Middlebury College has a great deal of focus on sustainability and offers business programs in Economics.  They also have a computer science degree which can pair well with a career in information systems technology management.

A few schools worth mentioning include University of Phoenix and Kaplan Universtiy. These schools are great options for getting an online business degree, especially if you’re very busy with work or family commitments.
