Business licenses must be purchased at the City’s One Stop Shop, on the third floor of City Hall, located at 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406. Call (843) 554-5700 for more information.

You cannot apply for a business license online. The only way to apply is to go to the City Hall. Business license renewals, however, can be done online. Please ensure that if  desire to pay by check have your check book with you. There will be various fees depending on what type of business you have. Each fee requires a separate check.
