Business Degree / Business Marketing Degree

A degree in Business Marketing may be the perfect addition to your resume.  The higher your Business Degree, the more specifically you will study the world of Management and Business marketing.

Associates Degree Programs

An associate business program can be a good move for retail managers, sales associates, or fashion marketing workers.  However, most fields require a more extensive study in Business.  Corporate upper-management positions will more likely require at least a bachelors degree and even better, a Masters Degree.  Beginning with an associate may be a good start for some; certainly giving you the basic know-how for store management and leadership.  But for those hoping to move into a professional field, an associate degree will likely not be enough.

Business Marketing Degree

Most good Bachelor’s programs will teach the basic relationship between agencies and customers as well as the specific workings of the field itself.
Classes generally include study in marketing principles, business communication, and general the general business field as a whole.
Classes may include study on the principles of finance, management, international business, sales and marketing issues, current trends and practices, business marketing, macroeconomics, managerial communication, marketing research, and consumer behavior.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master’s Degree Programs

While a Bachelor’s of Business Marketing may properly prepare you for your start in the business world, an MBA or Masters of Business Marketing may be your ticket to moving up in the professional world. This degree may prepare you for countless fields of interest.  A Master of Business Marketing trains you to work in marketing leadership positions.  For many, this degree is instrumental in helping you achieve your desired position of leadership within your career.

MBA Salary

Generally speaking, the higher up you go in school, the more you’re worth to a company.   Of course, there are always exceptions to the rules, but this is true in most cases.

Because the field of Business Marketing is so expansive, it is difficult to quantify the return on your school investment.  However, some estimate that an MBA may return a 140% increase in pay.  Some starting executives make $140,000, while the possible return on a successful entrepreneurial venture may be exponentially more.
