Congratulations on your engagement! You can apply for a marriage license through the King County Records and Licensing Services Division. The Records and Licensing Services Division is located in Room 311 of the King County Administration Building, located at 500 Fourth Avenue, Seattle, Washington. How can we meet the requirements to receive a marriage license in Bellevue, Washington?

For you to meet the requirements to receive a marriage license in Bellevue, Washington, both of you need to be single and at least 18 years of age. When you go to apply for your marriage license, you should appear together in person at the Records and Licensing Services Division office. You will need to present a government-issued photo I.D. such as a driver’s license. If either of you is a minor, you may apply for a marriage license in King County if you are 17 years of age and you have parental consent. If you are under 17 years of age, you must have court approval in order to apply for a marriage license.
